THE ORIGIN
19 | The Sandbox: Automated Tinder (swipes, openers, date-setting) because swiping is a colossal waste of life. Got banned by Tinder.
20 | The Pivot: Couldn't work in AI, defense or nuclear - gatekept by capital and/or regulation. Decided to build a quant fund instead after reading about Jim Simons/RenTec in More Money Than God. Launched Blackrose.
23 | Escape Velocity: The code cracked after 3 years of grind. Blackrose started printing in COVID. Licensed algorithms to institutional investors. $30M+ in profits over 5 years @ 3+ Sharpe.
29 | The Handover: Time to escape the local maxima of trading (relative to my skills and the opportunity landscape). Handed the reins to my co-founder.
Now | Raeth: Building the largest employer in history. Zero humans.
